A little bit about Busy Bee Sisters…

Busy Bee Sisters was founded in 2023 when sisters Jodi and Jenny decided that they were ready for a new adventure and wanted to see if they could live their dream!  Jenny & Jodi are both graduates of FIT -  Jodi's background is in product development, graphic design and Marketing and Jenny studied Merchandising and worked in Advertising and Human Resources.

Jodi, the always creative sister, had an eye for style and design and had been creating beautiful gift baskets for friends and family for years! 

Jenny, mom to twins, had been curating her own kind of baskets - small crafty kits to bring on outings with her girls to keep them occupied while having dinner out, visiting friends or ways to just keep them entertained while trying to keep electronic devices out of their little hands...and just like that, The Busy Bee was born!

Family is everything to us, it really is and has always been that way. We included our children’s ideas and thoughts, our husband’s feedback and suggestions and the help of our parents. Our father who was always used to being busy, busy, busy has always been a big influence to us. He was a true entrepreneur forging ahead as a builder and developer and always encouraged us to take chances and find our way.  Our Mom was heavily involved in their business and was responsible for everything behind the scenes.
After our dad retired, he found he had free time on his hands and really was in need of something to fill that void. Knowing that he could help us with organization and filling the kits gave us more of a push to tackle the intimidating idea of starting our own business. Our mom & dad’s excitement gave us the drive and gave my dad purpose…that was everything we needed to keep moving forward.
